WEATHER PROTECTION
Pedestrian Weather Protection
Keep people dry and safe at entries, queues, and paths through active work areas.
I Overview
Some projects don't need a full walkway — they need weather cover at a specific point: a queue outside a building, a transfer between a garage and a lobby, a temporary check-in, or a spot where pedestrians must pass an active work area. Zoe provides targeted canopy coverage that keeps people dry and out of harm's way, installed fast and priced for however long the exposure lasts.

III The Details
How the job works.
Coverage where you actually need it
Single canopies for an entry or queue, connected sections for a longer exposed stretch, or a cover over a transfer point between structures. We assess the path and cover the points where weather and work zones create risk.
Safe separation from the work
Canopies keep foot traffic under cover and, combined with sidewalls, help visually and physically separate pedestrians from the active area. We coordinate with your site's safety plan and traffic control.
Rated and anchored for the site
Flame-certified (NFPA 701) tops, weighted ballast on hardscape, and sidewalls and gutters for wind-driven rain and runoff. For extended winter work we can add heat to enclosed sections.
IV FAQs
Common questions.
What is the difference between this and a covered walkway?
A covered walkway is a continuous path from A to B. Pedestrian weather protection is targeted coverage at specific points — a queue, an entry, a transfer between buildings — where you need cover but not a full run.
Are the tents fire-rated for commercial use?
Yes. Our tent tops carry NFPA 701 flame certification, which commercial and public-space projects typically require. We can provide documentation for your file.
Can you install in public space / on a sidewalk?
Often yes, but public-space work in DC involves DDOT and may require additional permitting. We advise on the requirement and provide site plans and drawings as needed.
How quickly can you respond?
Targeted canopy coverage is fast to deploy — frequently within a day or two of a confirmed quote, depending on scope and permitting.
