HEALTHCARE
Covered Walkways for Hospitals & Healthcare
Keep patient and staff access accessible, dry, and safe during construction.
I Overview
Healthcare facilities can't compromise access. When construction affects an entrance or the path between buildings, patients, staff, and visitors — many with mobility needs — still require a safe, accessible, weather-protected route. Zoe installs ADA-conscious covered walkways and entrance canopies for hospitals and medical facilities across the DMV, built for continuous year-round use.

III The Details
How the job works.
Accessibility comes first
We build walkways to ADA-compliant clear width and headroom, with even, ground-protected surfaces so wheelchairs, gurneys, and walkers move safely. Lighting keeps the path visible for early and late shifts.
Continuous, all-weather access
Enclosed sidewalls and gutters keep patients and staff dry in rain and wind; heat keeps enclosed sections usable through winter. Structures are built to stand for the length of a multi-phase construction schedule.
Coordinated with a live campus
We phase installs to keep access open, coordinate with facilities and safety teams, provide COI and NFPA documentation for your compliance file, and route around emergency and service access.
IV FAQs
Common questions.
Are the walkways ADA accessible?
We build to ADA-compliant clear width and headroom with even, ground-protected surfaces so wheelchairs, gurneys, and walkers pass safely. Share your specific requirements and we design to them.
Can access stay open during install?
Yes. We phase the work to keep a safe path open and coordinate with facilities and safety teams throughout.
Do you provide compliance documentation?
Yes — certificate of insurance, NFPA 701 flame certification for the tent tops, and permit drawings where the structure requires them.
Can it stay up through a multi-phase project?
Yes. These are long-term structures rented by the month, serviced over their life, with permit renewals handled.
