ENTRANCE CANOPIES

Temporary Entrance Canopy & Vestibule Rentals

Keep a clean, weather-protected front door open while the real one is under construction.

I Overview

When a building's main entrance is being renovated, guests still need a way in — one that stays dry and doesn't look like a construction detour. Zoe installs temporary entrance canopies and enclosed vestibules that cover a relocated door or walkway, using event-grade tents that read as presentable at a hotel, office lobby, or retail storefront. This is the exact structure we installed at the Grand Hyatt in DC to cover a temporary guest entrance during their main-entrance renovation.

III The Details

How the job works.

Presentable, not industrial

Where an appearance matters — a hotel arrival, a retail storefront, a corporate lobby — a warehouse tent won't do. We use clean, well-maintained frame tents with optional sidewalls and lighting so the temporary entrance looks intentional, not improvised.

A real vestibule, not just a roof

Enclose the structure with sidewalls and clear panels to create a weather lock that keeps wind and rain out of the lobby, or leave it open as a simple canopy. We match the footprint to your relocated door and the walkway leading to it.

Fast, low-disruption install

Entrance canopies go up in hours. We ballast on hardscape, work around your operating hours, and coordinate with the GC so the temporary entrance is ready the day the main one closes.

IV FAQs

Common questions.

Will a temporary entrance look presentable for guests?

Yes — that is the whole point of using event-grade tents. Clean frame tents with sidewalls and lighting read as an intentional, professional entrance rather than a construction workaround.

Can you enclose it against wind and rain?

Yes. We add sidewalls and clear panels to create an enclosed vestibule / weather lock, or leave it as an open canopy — whichever your entrance needs.

How small can an entrance canopy be?

As small as a single-door cover (for example a 10×10 or 10×20). Structures under 400 sq ft often fall below DC's temporary-structure permit threshold, which speeds up install.

You mention the Grand Hyatt — do you work with hotels?

Yes. Hotels are a core commercial client. A 10×20 covering a temporary guest entrance during renovation is a common request, and appearance and guest flow are exactly where our event-grade tents fit best.

How long can we keep it?

For the length of the renovation — days, weeks, or months. We quote weekly and monthly rates and manage any permit renewals.
